Treiden Jack Schleicher, a bright shining star of boundless joy who lived every moment to the fullest, left us far too soon on July 29, 2025, at the tender age of 20. Born on March 2, 2005, in Woodruff, Wisconsin, Treiden’s life was a brilliant flash, leaving an enduring mark on everyone he met.
Treiden had a spirit that truly radiated, embodying love in its purest form. Anyone who knew Treiden will share stories not only of his ability to make anyone smile or laugh; but also of his incredible kindness, his enormous heart, and how he was always the first to offer a helping hand. He was deeply loving and loved, not just by his family but by his extended family in the boat racing community, a world where he found immense camaraderie and purpose.
Treiden's passion and need for speed was legendary. Whether on land or water, Treiden thrived on competition and could often be found at the helm, his heart full of pride and a humble hunger for velocity. When not kicking ass and taking names at full throttle, he found solace and connection in fishing, a peaceful retreat where many cherished memories were created and will be forever treasured.
Treiden faced the profound loss of his father, Adam Schleicher, at a young age. Even in his early years, he let nothing slow down his ability to meet adversity with remarkable resilience and determination, never using that loss as a crutch. Instead, he always strove for better paths, embodying a hope and courage that inspired everyone he met.
Treiden is profoundly missed and survived by his devoted mother, Megan Birginal. He deeply cherished his roles as a son and brother, building enduring connections that will be treasured forever. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Shelby Love and many siblings, who brought him so much happiness and pride: Easton Birginal, Avaeda Birginal, Kasen Singer, Hailey Love, Addy Love, Everleigh Love, Isabella Hearn, Kori Ladd, Ava Hearn, Ellie Hearn, and Theo Hearn. Further survivors include his mom's significant other, Ryan; his grandpa, Curt (Lorissa) Birginal His uncle, Jesse (Angela) Birginal. Josh and Ashley. Grandma, Laura Schleicher. Treiden’s presence will also be sorely missed by many friends, cousins, and an entire racing community.
Treiden now joins his father, Adam Schleicher, his brother, Austin Birginal, his grandma, Lori Birginal, and his grandpa, Wayne Schleicher who have gone before him. Their reunion is surely one full of love, laughter, and lures.
Treiden lived by his own powerful words: "Drive Fast, Live Fast, Die Fast.” “Live Now, Not Tomorrow, Tomorrow Isn't Promised.” “Love All, Trust Few."
To him, these weren't just phrases; they were his creed, perfectly capturing his essence of a life lived with intensity, thrill, and an unshakeable capacity for love and loyalty. Treiden may be gone, but the echo of his vibrant life will resonate forever. He may have lived fast, but he lived with a heart full of love, leaving a permanent mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Mass in remembrance of Treiden will take place on August 2, 2025, at St. Raphael Church in Springfield, Ohio, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a viewing at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM the same day.
