Victor Matthew Palmer, born on December 15, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio, left this world peacefully at the Hospice of Miami County on December 29, 2025, after a courageous fight against a rare brain tumor. He battled this illness with grace and determination, surrounded by love and the support of his family and friends.
Victor was a dedicated worker, having started his career at Drug Castle until its closure. He spent many years at Citi Trends and was currently employed at Meijer, where he formed strong bonds with coworkers who became like family. His infectious smile and upbeat personality brightened the days of those around him, fostering a sense of community in every workplace he graced.
Outside of work, Victor had a diverse array of interests that brought him joy. He was an avid collector of wolves, expressing his love for these majestic creatures through his cherished collection. As a huge movie buff, he found solace in the worlds that cinema offered him, often sharing his favorite films with friends and family. Additionally, Victor enjoyed playing and collecting video games and systems, relishing the adventures they provided. His passion extended to knife collecting, an interest that allowed him to appreciate craftsmanship.
Victor is survived by his loving sister, Jeanny (Tom) Evans, and his brother, David M. (Leslie) Hosier, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss his playful spirit and warm presence. His lifelong friend and partner, Amber, who together, helped each other throughout their lives; providing unwavering love and support. Victor also leaves behind his dear friend and coworker, Amy, along with all his friends at Meijer, who became like family, creating lasting memories together.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward M. and Sarah J. (Pillers) Palmer Sr., his brothers Edward Palmer Jr. and Donald Hosier, and his precious niece Christina Groeber. Victor was also welcomed into eternity by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, who surely awaited him with open arms.
To honor Victor’s memory, a Memorial Gathering will be held on January 10, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 4:00 PM at Restoration Park Church, located at 55 Restoration Park Dr, Medway, Ohio 45341. This gathering will serve as a beautiful opportunity for all who knew him to come together, share stories, and cherish the impactful life he led.

His spirit will continue to inspire and uplift everyone he met, reminding us all to embrace life with the same passion and courage he demonstrated throughout his years.
