William A. Brock

William A. Brock, of South Charleston, Ohio, passed away in Springfield, Ohio on September 22, 2026. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 1, 1938, and remained closely connected to the community that shaped his life.

Bill will be remembered as a man who found joy in the things he loved most and who stayed true to his interests through the years. He worked at Sunrise Cooperative, formerly Landmark, in South Charleston, where he was known as a dependable presence. Outside of work, he loved tinkering on Farmall tractors, a pastime that reflected both his curiosity and his hands-on spirit. He was also a collector of motors and engines, taking pleasure in the craftsmanship and character found in each one. William was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals, and he enjoyed listening to organ music, interests that brought him comfort and enjoyment throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harral Brock; his mother, Rachel (Hurd) Brock; and his brother, Robert Brock.

Bill’s memory will be cherished by those who survive him, including his niece, Debbie (Buck) Bramlish, and his nephews, Dan Brock and Doug (Sara) Brock. He is also lovingly remembered by Reagan, Jake, Jenna, Drew, and Kate, whose lives were part of the circle of care and connection that surrounded him.

As family and friends remember Bill, they will hold close the image of a man devoted to the familiar pleasures of life: the satisfaction of working with his hands, the excitement of a ballgame, the sound of organ music, and the enduring appeal of tractors, motors, and engines. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
