William Edwin West

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, William Edwin West passed away while embraced by his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children Michelle and Angela (Jeremy); grandchildren Kyle (Briana), Hannah (Steven), and Justine; his great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Max, Michael, Kinsley, Vivian, Christopher, and Harper; his sisters Peggy and Barbara; and his brother, James. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Harold; his sister, Betty; and his brothers, Larry and David. He was born in Wellston, Ohio on February 2, 1951, the fourth of seven children. He graduated from South Springfield High School in 1970 and married his high school sweetheart, Linda Preston. William leaves behind a legacy as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Family requests donations in lieu of flowers. Donations can be made to Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center.
