It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zaniya Dream Webb, who left this world unexpectedly and far too soon on June 13, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 2, 2024, Zaniya brought immense joy and light into the lives of everyone around her during her brief time here. She was a treasured daughter to her loving parents, Zyeir Webb and Kameron Compton.
Anyone fortunate enough to encounter Zaniya knew her infectious baby giggles and the delightful warmth of her tiny hands reaching out, eager to squeeze your cheeks. Her joyous personality was complemented by a love for the show Bluey, which could easily turn any frown into a smile, and music from Chief Keef, which would soothe her when she needed comforting.
Zaniya’s family, an ensemble of love and support, consists of her cherished grandparents, Julia McClain, Marquis Glenn, and great-grandma Debbie Collins-McClain, as well as a multitude of uncles and aunts: Jaelynn, Alizander, Julian, Therisa, Sinzere, Tristan, Reannon, Jasiah, Jeremiah, Karyl, Stenijia, Jennifer (Jerry III), and Joshua. Each member of her extended family feels the ache of her absence, cherishing the moments they had shared together and holding onto the memories of her vibrant spirit.
While Zaniya leaves behind an unfillable void, she is preceded in death by her beloved uncle James Jr., her cherished grandma Betty Joglenn, and her grandpa Donald McClain. Though they are no longer with us, there is a comforting thought that Zaniya has joined them, enveloped in love and warmth.
Her visitation will be held on June 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, both at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center in Springfield, Ohio. During this time, her family invites all who knew and loved Zaniya to come together, to remember this precious child who touched so many lives in her brief time with us.
Zaniya Dream Webb's light may have been dimmed far too soon, yet her laughter and love will echo in the hearts of her family and all who encountered her joyful spirit. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
