Honor Field 2019

As most of you know annually we host what we call the Honor Field.  The details are below, but the readers digest version is we raise money for local veterans causes mainly thru corporate sponsorships.  I have attached a flyer with the highlights and a sponsorship form for your convenience.  Many of you have sponsored us over the years and we appreciate your support.  We would love to have you on board this year which is the tenth year for this program.

Last year we added "Lunch with a Veteran" on opening day and it was ahuge success and we served over 100. We will do this again this year.  Lunch is free, but RSVPs are required as space is limited.

The event is from June 6th to June 14th (D-Day to Flag day) and each flag in the Honor Field represents a million thank yous to our service men and women currently serving and our veterans.  Each flag is a visible reminder of the selfless, dedicated service to our Country by military service personnel and the ultimate sacrifice made by these men and women.

Every year volunteers transform the grassy lawn in front of Jackson, Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center into a tribute of red white and blue. The 8 foot tall American flags, paying tribute to our heroes who have fought for the cause of freedom, helps visitors to heal, honor and remember that freedom isn’t free. This incredible and patriotic event is always free and hosted by Jackson, Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. The field of red, white and blue is funded through business sponsors and flag sales.

Funds raised through sponsorships and flag sales over the last nine years totaled over $60,000 in donations to local veteran organizations to fund veteran's medical transportation, Honor Flight, Purple Heart Chapter 620, Tuskegee Airmen, Feeding our Heroes and other local veteran causes.

Thank you for your consideration in supporting our servicemen and women through the annual Honor Field event. Here is also a link to a video of one of the past year's programs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7lIvkoII7Q
