Obituary for Mildred Eileen Hanks

Hanks, Mildred Eileen, 94, of Springfield, surrounded by her loving family, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 28, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles P. Hanks; parents James C. and Rebecca (Maxson) Tyree; her son Kenneth V. Jenkins; grandson Matthew Hanks; brother Lawrence Tyree; sisters Georgia Johnson, Mabel Chapman and Catherine Zink. She is survived by her sons Timothy L. Jenkins, Donald (Darla) Jenkins; daughter Rebecca (Bruce) Graff; sister Betty Furhman; grandchildren Laura Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins-Ghan (Michael), Nathan Hanks, Micah Hanks, Valerie Jenkins, David (Sarah) Jenkins; 5 great grandchildren. Mildred was a member of the Potter’s House in Springfield. Family will receive friends from 9 AM- 10:30 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, 2425 N. Limestone St., Springfield. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Condolences may be sent to www.jacksonlytle.com.
